Day 01

Arrival at Frankfurt Airport. Private transfer to hotel and check-in.

The metropolis Frankfurt offers the traditional and the modern side by side. It is a cosmopolitan city with its international exhibition centre, its strong financial service sector and its cultural life. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was born here. The Goethe Museum, the Roemerberg with the Old Town Hall (Roemer) and the area Sachsenhausen, where you find all the typical taverns serving the famous Frankfurt cider, are all sites you should not miss.

Enjoy the main sights of the city during a hop on hop off city tour by bus. No sojourn in Frankfurt is complete without a quick visit for a glass of the renowned “Frankfurt Ebbelwei“, which is actually apple wine, and very tasty. (optional, not included)

Day 02

Breakfast in the hotel take the train to Dusseldorf (Frankfurt > Dusseldorf 1:30h). Arrival in Düsseldorf; check in.

Hop on hop off city tour of Düsseldorf: Located at the River Rhine offers this modern vibrant city a lot of fashion and culture, with the Koenigsallee, one of the finest shopping boulevards in Europe. Stroll along the Rhine promenade or visit some of the plenty bars to sample Düsseldorf’s top-fermented “Altbier”.

Day 03

Breakfast in the hotel take your train to Hamburg (Düsseldorf > Hamburg 3:38 h). Private transfer to your hotel; check in.

Hop on hop off city tour of Hamburg: The free Hanseatic City located on the Elbe and Alster is the second largest city in Germany, with one of the largest ports in Europe. The red brick buildings of the warehouse district and the elegance of the shopping arcades are as characteristic of Hamburg as the modern HafenCity (HarbourCity). A harbour tour is a MUST for every visitor! (included)

Evening: free time to discover the city and head for the world famous night life district “Reeperbahn”

With its unique location on the River Elbe and Alster lake, the famous nightlife district Reeperbahn, the impressive harbour, the smart shopping arcades and the wide range of entertainment from musicals to opera – Germany’s second largest city the free and hanseatic city of Hamburg offers outstanding quality of life and international flair. An absolute “must” is a boat tour through Europe’s second largest harbour, followed by a stroll via the old Town Hall to “Jungfernstieg”, the exquisite shopping arcades on lake Alster in the heart of the city. Get inspired by the maritime atmosphere of this city of trade and culture.

Day 04

Breakfast in the hotel transfer to Hamburg railway station; take the train to Berlin (Hamburg > Berlin 1:36 h); private transfer to hotel check in.

Berlin, the capitol of Germany, offers immediate and vivid reminders of its past, like the Brandenburg Gate, the city´s most famous landmark and the symbol of division. Visit the Potsdamer Platz where you find many ultra-modern buildings, the Museum Island, a UNESCO World heritage site and then explore Berlin’s famous nightlife area, the Hackesche Höfe.

Sightseeing, Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, Charlottenburg Palace, Reichstag Parliament building, Alexanderplatz etc, best on an optional hop on/hop off tour (City Circle Tour, optional, not included).

Afternoon: take a boat ride on river Spree or visit some of the museums (included).

Evening: visit one of the numerous shows or concerts in Berlin or dinner in a restaurant and afterwards: visit the TV Tower entrance to the Berlin TV Tower without waiting time incl. 1 glass of sparkling wine (included).

Day 05

Breakfast in hotel choose between:

Option1:

SIC Excursion to Potsdam (Castle Sanssouci), 10:00-14:00h. The rococo Palace of Sanssouci became the favourite refuge of Prussia’s greatest King, Frederick II. Here, the Philosopher of Sanssouci entertained some of the most educated men of his time, among them the French poet Voltaire who was a frequent guest over many years. Our excursion takes you on an extensive tour of Sanssouci Palace with a stroll through the magnificent gardens, and a city tour of Potsdam during which you discover the heart of the baroque city with its Dutch Quarter and Russian Colony Alexandrovka. (not included, optional)

Or: go shopping on the famous Friedrichstrasse and boulevard Unter den Linden and follow the trails of the former Berlin Wall.

Day 06

After breakfast, check out transfer to Berlin railway station and take train to Dresden. (Berlin > Dresden 2:06 h)

No book about history of architecture can miss mentioning the Dresden Zwinger. The Frauenkirche Church, Semper Opera House and Royal Palace as well as many other historical monuments and ensembles determine the image of the city. The saucy angels from Raphael’s “The Sistine Madonna” make publicity for Dresden’s art collections in the whole world. Magnificent promenades on the bank of the River Elbe, interesting museums, industrial monuments and charming details – Dresden has a lot for you to discover. See the most important sights during a hop on hop off city tour.

Day 07

After breakfast take the train to Munich (Dresden > Munich 5:44 h). Arrival in Munich check in.

Beer and pretzels, Oktoberfest, Hofbraeuhaus and leather trousers are things Munich is famous for. There are so many other things to explore. Stroll through downtown with the famous City hall with its carillon, the gothic church of Our Lady with its onion domes and limitless shopping possibilities. Enjoy a summer day in the English Garden with two huge beer gardens, one on the lake, the other at the foot of the Chinese tower. Munich is also a vantage point for excursions to Neuschwanstein and Salzburg.

Enjoy an extensive 3 hour city tour of Munich (by bus) covering the major and most beautiful sights of Munich. Choose from a wide range of topics like “Historical City Tour”, "Medieval Munich", “Olympic Park Munich”

Afternoon: The centre of Munich is easily accessible by foot. Visit the Old Town Hall, listen to the famous concert of the "Glockenspiel" chimes and see how the mechanical dancers become to life. There are plenty of pedestrian zones, and many hidden away streets and alleys to explore.

Evening: dinner in typical Bavarian restaurant (not included, optional)

Day 08

Breakfast in the hotel start your day with a Full day SIC excursion to castle Neuschwanstein, daily departures April 01-  Oct 31, Tour starts at 08:30, ends at 19:00. Hidden in the seclusion of the mountains King Ludwig II built two of his dream castles: Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. This trip shows you two extraordinary castles, both testifying to the vision of Bavaria’s fairytale King. Short shopping stop in Oberammergau. Approx. 4 hours time to visit Neuschwanstein and for lunch. (lunch not included, optional).

Day 09

After breakfast in the hotel take the train to Stuttgart. (Munich > Stuttgart 2:17 h). Arrivals in Stuttgart check in.

A vibrant city with top-class art and culture, appealing leisure activities and fantastic shops, Stuttgart is at the centre of one of Germany's foremost economic regions. What’s more, the people of Stuttgart really do know how to throw a party - the lively Stuttgart Beer Festival, the traditional Wine Festival and the atmospheric Stuttgart Christmas market are just three of its popular events.

Free time to visit of the Mercedes-Benz Museum or the Porsche Museum (easy to reach by public transport; payable on spot).

Day 01

See the highlights of the former Coronation City of the German Emperors and the modern European Banking Center. The historic heart with the ,,Römer”, our famous old city hall, the Cathedral, and St. Paul’s Church. Römer Square and in „Old Sachsenhausen“. The Goethe House and the international Fair Grounds. The Old Opera and the banking quarter with its skyscrapers – among them the highest in Europe. The old Hauptwache and our shopping center Zeil, the big towers of the former city wall, the museum banks and much more.

Afternoon: at leisure. Overnight in Frankfurt

Day 02

Transfer to the romantic city of Ruedesheim on the banks of the Rhine River. Take some time to take a stroll along Drosselgasse, a narrow alley lined with wine taverns & gardens. Depart for a Rhine river cruise to St Goar passing by the famous Loreley rock.

Afternoon: Enjoy some time at leisure in St Goar and take the boat back to Ruedesheim. Transfer back to Frankfurt. Overnight in Frankfurt.

Day 03

Morning: Take the train to Cologne.

Afternoon: After breakfast create your own individual Sightseeing Tour in Cologne with the Hop On - Hop Off City Tour!
